I am thinking of having an afternoon tea party for my 30th Birthday. Do you have any suggestions? I love baking and making fingerfood. I am not a tea drinker but was thinking of offering tea and or champagne. What tea do you recommend? I was going to have about 25 guests.
Do you put a menu on each persons setting?
Soup
Pumpkin and Feta Tart
Garden Salad with tomato relish
Sweets - Cupcakes, muffins, Scones etc...

Thank you so much for this wonderful website! My neice and I both love the victorian era! My neice's birthday is this month and my sister and I will be taking her to a tea room locally. This website has given me a lot of good ideas as to what menu we would like and to be very authentic. We are even going to get costumes to wear! Thank you again. This is wonderful!

We are hoping to have a Tea Party as our wedding reception. I love the idea of it as much as I love a good cup of tea in a china cup! This is a fabulous website with more information in one place that i thought possible. I'd love any ideas or suggestions on venue's in the Canterbury area that would be able to host a Tea party for around 110 guests and also if you have any contact detail for caterers you may have used in the past that were particularly good at this type of thing.
