And it is not just about looking good – this teapot actually delivers the best cup of tea!  And the reason is because of the stainless steel loose tea leaf infuser.  As we already know here at Tea Party Girl, there is a science behind delivering the best cup of tea.  And with this Hario teapot, with its large tea strainer, the secret can now be revealed!

Let the tea leaves dance

That’s right, the tea leaves need to dance. To get the very best flavors, and aromas and the smoothest blend of tea, the tea leaves need to expand easily – mingle and unfurl and gently release.  This is the where the hidden art of the tea master, is combined with the skill of the Hario glass makers come together.  And when these two fine arts come together, they provide the perfect tool for tea lovers.

The skill of the tea master

When the tea master dries, heats and ferments the raw tea leaves, the skill is to lock in the unique tea flavours.  Whether it be the rarest of white teas, the most delicate Japanese green tea, or a gunpowder green or even a powerful black tea, the secret is in the way the tea master “cooks” the tea leaves, by heating and rolling the leaves.  Each batch of tea leaves is treated individually by the master until it reaches its optimum point of fermentation, ripeness and preservation.  That dried loose leaf tea is then packaged and stored until it reaches your kitchen.

The secret of the Hario Chacha teapot

If you care how you drink your tea, if you are discerning about your selection of white, green or black, and if you love the ritual surrounding your daily cup of tea, then you need to know this secret.  The secret to a perfect cup of tea is the Hario Chacha Kyusu Maru glass teapot.

Simply select your finest loose leaf tea, and add a careful measure into the stainless steel infuser, and add hot water.  Please take note of the correct water temperature for your choice of tea, as this is important for the steeping process.  If the hot water is too hot will make the tea bitter, and not hot enough will not release the full flavour from the leaves.  Get that right – and you have discovered the secret.  Then replace the lid and allow the loose tea to steep.

Nurture each and every loose tea leaf

The rotund dimensions of this 700 ml teapot allows space that unfurls each and every leaf of tea.  According to the skill of the tea master, this action infuses the individual flavours from each of those leaves into the tea.   This Hario glass teapot comes with a large stainless steel infuser so that the tea leaves are not crammed together.  Each and every tea leaf should be allowed to drift, float, roll and waft.  Why not set your tea leaves free?  Let them unfurl and reach their full potential.  Why hide the inner tea leaves from achieving the best they can be?  Let them come out, let them be free to mingle and jingle with the rest.  And with the Hario Chacha Kyusu Maru teapot – you can watch the whole process unfold through the beautiful glass.

This beautiful clear glass tea pot is a pleasure to use.

As each tea leaf expands, unfurls, spreads its wings and expands to it fullest potential, you can see the wonderful release of color into the water, and smell the superb aroma of fresh tea.
