Tea is good for you in more ways than one. This video walks you step by step through creating a simple green tea facial scrub. You could use this for your own skin, bottle it for a favor or create it at a tea for teens tea party. There are so many fun ways to use this tea party facial idea.
You can purchase great green tea from http://www.TeaSource.com or http://www.SterlingTea.com
Here is another type of recipe for a green tea facial:
Green Tea and Dark Chocolate Fabulous Facial
1 TBS Powdered Green Tea (Matcha)
1 TBS Dark Cocoa Powder
Natural Honey (enough to make a thick paste)
Mix the ingredients and spread on a clean face. Let rest for 20 minutes. If you don’t have matcha you can use other types of non flavored green tea. Be sure to grind the tea first before using.
This recipe will soften your skin, help clear acne and give you a fresh toned look. Green tea facials are high in antioxidents and are a natural way to “update” your “at home spa” experience. Give it a try

Enjoying Green Tea
Tea Party Girl asks: What do you think?
It’s fun to do tea body care. I did green tea foot soaks with a group of young moms. They thought they’d died and gone to heaven! While their feet were soaking, they drank green tea smoothies. I had a green tea and mint foot cream they used on their feet after the soak. Of course, quiet music played in the background and the lights were dimmed. Wonderful way to relax. I look forward to trying the green tea facial. Thanks for sharing it Dawnya.
That is a super idea! I bet the moms loved it.
