Still sitting out the effects of last Friday’s storm.
Powerful winds rocked the West Coast last weekend and knocked out power all over my beloved state of California, including my Internet. I am writing to you through Plays with Fire’s fingertips while I dictate over the phone.
I can’t tell you for sure when I’ll return, but I promise it will be ASAP. After all, I’m living through my fourth full day of no Internet! (Not that I’m in withdrawal or anything).
In the meantime, I hope you’re enjoying Hot Tea Month with me. I’ll be in touch.
Sorry to hear you are out of power. I was going through internet withdraws over the weekend while traveling back home. Hope all is back to normal soon.
Power is back for me! And last load of laundry finally caught up! But plans for school and organization and efficiency…..well, other than a set tea time of 4:00 (new since yesterday), my schedule is completely off. Watching two kids I have never watched before. Trying to stop at 1 1/2 pancakes instead of 2 or 3 or 6, and wondering how I will ever get to my routine again! Field trip tomorrow, surprise repainting of the kitchen on Thursday and watching more kids on Friday. I guess the real deal begins next Monday. OH! We can survive! Especially with our tea!
Several of my co-workers in the Folsom area had downed fences, trees down, etc. I was thinking of you!
Sorry to hear you are out of power, Jenny! (And I completely understand Internet withdrawl!) Here in So. Cal we had a lot of rain, but nothing like you obviously experienced!
Looking forward to “seeing” you online soon!
Sorry to hear you are without power and internet. Hope all is well and everything is restored soon.
We didn’t lose power but did get a lot of rain and snow.
At the moment I am recovering from a long hike in the deep snow and shoveling my way out!
