The day has been long. Your washing machine broke. The phone won’t stop ringing. Your son put a plastic toy up his nose. All in all a hectic day.

But good news!

This tea party dessert is so simple and so delicious that your friends will think your whole day was spent preparing for them.

What you need:

1 Box of Ho Ho’s or Swirl Type Cakes (Little Debbie or Walmart or Hostess)
1 Box Strawberries
1 Carton of Heavy Whipping Cream
Vanilla
Powdered Sugar
Mini Cupcake Wrappers

Start by slicing the swirl cakes into 4 pieces. Place each on on its side in a mini cupcake wrapper and set on plate or tray.

Slice strawberries

Add a dash of vanilla to your cream and whip hard. When it is half done add 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of powdered sugar. (depending on how sweet you want your cream) Whip till firm.

Place dollop of cream on each cake and decorate with a bit of strawberry. Refrigerate till hard.

Now here is the important part. DON’T TELL!

It has to be our little secret.

When your friends go on and on about how delicious your desserts are simply smile and say “oh, it was nothing.”

Well done!
