Well, I guess it was meant to happen sometime. I just spent 90 minutes writing you a glorious article about How to Serve Tea Food to a Crowd only to lose it during editing. My stomach is in a knot! It was a good article, too! I just don’t have the heart (or the time) to rewrite it today.
Meet me for tea at three. A few tears will be mixed in my brew today, sniff, sniff.
Off to the city (San Francisco) for the weekend. See you Monday.
Oh no, I had that happen to me many times and then blogger started this auto save feature where it saves your post every minute – or more often if you type fast. I’ve been so glad for it esp now that my baby has found the power strip button and thinks it’s funny when mommy says “nooooo”
Hey Jenny, I thought I’d drop by to give you some support only to find you REALLy need it…:).. of course overall I’m really envious of your trip to San Fran.. When you get back you’ll feel great..
Anyway, a hint. On one of my blog themes if the photos are loaded and on browse instead of upload I always loose all my stuff. EVEN if I save and continue. It’s a real pain. It depends if I et to it via write or manage I think. Email me if you need details.
I hate when I write something brilliant and its gone. So sad! (the good news? there is no limit to our creativity!)
Ok, enough of a discourse. back to writing myself.
hope u have a great time in the city! it’s great to revisit ur blog again for more tea facts and tea history.. it’s getting me all excited for my next party.. every party always turns into a tea party for me since we drink tea after heavy meals.. the chinese believes it helps with digestion 🙂
Oh, my heart goes out to you! I’ve had that happen and it’s sooooooooooo painful!
PS – I hope that your weekend away made up for the issue.
Thanks, Everybody! Appreciate the empathy! I wonder, Michelle, if that’s what happened. I could not figure out what I had done wrong!
Just a thought – writing your post on a word document first and then copy & paste to your blog may be a good idea, especially if you don’t know what caused the entry to disappear.
Oh, Jenny :(…feeling your pain. That’s happened to the best of us :/.
Now…I constantly save during writing (when I remember to) (all it takes for me to remember is losing the “best” article I’ve ever written 😉 ).
Hope you had a FAB time!
I truly sympathize. I feel sick to my stomach whenever something like that happens! I’ve learned to rely on auto-saves pretty heavily…
I believe you have made many truly interesting points. Not too many people would really think about it the direction you just did. I am truly impressed that there is so much about this subject that has been uncovered and you did it so nicely
